Accessibility Statement
How we approach accessibility, what we support, known gaps, and how to reach us.
1. Our commitment
Chordize AI is committed to making our website and desktop application usable by the widest possible range of people, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to comply with applicable Canadian, U.S., EU, and UK accessibility laws, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Accessible Canada Act, the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as applied to websites, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
2. What we currently support
- Keyboard navigation of primary flows on the website (sign-in, sign-up, wallet top-up, viewing legal pages).
- Descriptive page titles, semantic HTML, and ARIA landmarks on the main pages.
- Descriptive labels on form inputs and buttons.
- Text alternatives for informative images.
- Sufficient contrast in default theme colours, and legible font sizes at 100% zoom.
- Screen-reader friendly announcements of status and error text on the account and top-up flows.
3. Known gaps
We are aware that the following areas do not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA and we are working on them:
- The desktop overlay window is a stylised HUD; its focus order, contrast, and screen-reader interactions may not fully meet WCAG until a scheduled accessibility pass.
- Some marketing-page decorative animations may not respect a user's
prefers-reduced-motionsetting; a fix is planned. - Live-region announcements for long-running AI responses are still in progress.
- AI outputs themselves may not always be accessible content (for example, if the AI generates a table or code block, the accessibility of that content depends on the model). We provide plain-text output as a fallback.
4. Feedback and requests
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need information from Chordize AI in an alternative accessible format, please contact us:
- Email: support@chordize.com — please put "Accessibility" in the subject.
- Mail: Chordize AI Inc., #1219, 39 Niagara Street, Toronto ON M5V 0T6, Canada.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 business days, and to provide a substantive response within 20 business days. Where a fix is not immediately possible, we will describe the workaround and a target timeframe.
5. Assessment approach
We assess accessibility through a combination of self-review, automated tooling (axe-core / Lighthouse), manual keyboard-only and screen-reader testing (NVDA and VoiceOver), and feedback from users. This statement is reviewed at least annually and updated when material changes ship.
6. Enforcement
If you believe you have not received an adequate response, you may complain to the accessibility regulator in your jurisdiction. In Ontario, that is the AODA enforcement process. In the EU, that is the accessibility body for the member state where you live. In the U.S., that is the applicable Department of Justice or state process.
