Community Guidelines
What we expect from users of Chordize AI. Written in plain language.
1. Be honest about AI
When you share content that was created or substantially rewritten by Chordize AI, be honest with the people you're sharing it with. Do not pretend AI outputs are your own original writing when doing so would deceive readers who depend on that authorship — for example, in academic submissions, sworn statements, credentialing evidence, or product-authenticity claims. AI-assisted work is not wrong, but hiding that it is AI-assisted, where the reader deserves to know, is.
2. Respect other people
Do not use Chordize AI to attack, dox, harass, threaten, stalk, or humiliate real people. Do not generate content that sexualizes real people without consent, that impersonates real people to defame or defraud them, or that presents a real person doing or saying things they did not do or say in a way that a reasonable viewer could mistake for reality.
3. Respect other people's work
Do not use Chordize AI to copy, paraphrase, or launder text you don't have the right to use in ways that violate copyright, trade secret, or contract obligations. If Chordize AI helps you draft something, you are responsible for making sure the final result is yours to publish.
4. Protect children
Content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or targets children is banned outright. This is not a "warning first" area — we will remove content, terminate accounts, preserve evidence where legally required, and, in serious cases, report to the appropriate authorities.
5. Don't use Chordize AI to hurt people
Do not use the Service to plan or carry out real-world harm. This includes violence, terrorism, weapons or dangerous-substances instructions, self-harm encouragement, or targeted physical or financial harm to any specific person or group. "It's just a prompt" is not a defence — if a real person could be hurt, this rule applies.
6. Don't game the platform
Don't create fake accounts, evade bans, share accounts, resell wallet credits, abuse refunds or chargebacks, exploit promotional offers, or automate account creation. Don't run bots or scrapers against the Service. Don't try to bypass safety controls, rate limits, or billing.
7. If you disagree with a decision
If we remove your content, suspend your account, deny a refund, or take another action you disagree with, you can appeal. Email support@chordize.com with the request ID, timestamps, and your reasoning. We commit to a human review of appeals where the initial decision was automated. Our decisions are final, but we take appeals seriously and we will explain our reasoning.
8. Reporting
If you see behaviour that breaks these guidelines, tell us at support@chordize.com or on our Trust & Safety page. For urgent legal or safety matters, contact emergency services or law enforcement first.
9. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, throttle usage, freeze wallets, deny refunds, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or preserve records where these guidelines or the Acceptable Use Policy are broken. Repeat violations, deliberate evasion, and violations that endanger others move faster to termination.
10. Changes
These guidelines evolve as the community does. If we make material changes, we'll post the new version with a new effective date and, for larger changes, we'll notify users through the Service or by email.
