Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, and how to exercise them.
1. Our position
Chordize AI does not sell your personal information, and does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. We do not use cookies, tags, or SDKs whose function is to profile you across unaffiliated websites for ads. If that ever changes, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy, and we will honour opt-out signals as required.
2. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or share about you, and the categories of sources and recipients;
- Access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to permitted exceptions (billing, tax, fraud prevention, security, backups, legal);
- Opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising — as noted, we do not do this today, but you may still submit a request for our records;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information — again, we do not use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to operate the Service; and
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a right, except where the difference is reasonably related to the value of the data.
3. How to submit a request
To submit a request:
- email support@chordize.com from the email address associated with your Chordize AI account, and put "California Privacy Request" in the subject line; and
- tell us which right you are exercising (know / access / correct / delete / opt out of sale-or-share / limit sensitive PI), and, if delete, confirm you want it in writing.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. Verification typically means asking you to confirm information we already hold about you, or asking you to click a link sent to the email on file. We will not use verification information for any other purpose.
4. Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will need written proof of the agent's authority (a signed permission from you), and we may still need to verify your identity directly.
5. Global Privacy Control
Because Chordize AI does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, a browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal does not change our behaviour today. If we ever add processing that GPC would apply to, we will honour GPC signals from that point on.
6. Appeals
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email within 30 days. We will re-review the request and respond in writing. If you disagree with the appeal outcome, you may complain to the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov.
